1. Favorite Dr. Seuss book; Emma picked The Foot Book.
2. Dr. Seuss inspired nails. I found a picture on Pinterest and then kinda picked my ideas. Her thumb is Green Eggs and Ham, Index finger is Cat in the Hat, Middle Finger Thing 1 (Thing 2 on the other hand,) Star Belly Sneetch on the ring finger and her pinky had a Truffula tree.
3. Wacky Wednesday; Emma had fun with this one, she liked having different shoes on this year (hated it last year!)
4. Crazy Socks; this was actually Monday (I forgot about it while typing!) We just picked out two sets of Easter socks from the dollar bin at Target!
5. Dr. Seuss character; This is a repeat from last year. I made the shirt and it was big enough to wear again so I added some yellow skinny jeans and a collar (made from an old t-shirt, like her pilgrim collar from November!)
A few extra things: We have been out the past two days for ice.
Emma was able to get to school today. We leave this afternoon for a weekend at a cabin in Pigeon Forge with some friends so that is pretty exciting!
Emma was excited to get back to AWANAS this week after a two week hiatus.

ReplyDeleteThey did a Dr Seuss week at my Em's school this week too. She was sooooo disappointed on Monday though. The entire 3rd grade class, which is about 130 students were to dress up as their favorite book character. Welllll, Emma's teacher was sick on Friday and totally forgot to send the note home with my Em's class about the dressing up. So when Emma got to school all the 3rd graders had dressed up except for her classroom =( She was sooo sad about it. Hopefully they'll do it next year!
