Food, Owls, and pictures

Last night I had an Origami Owl party, it was so much fun.  I really stress about having people at our house because it is super small and I feel that I have to be a super cleaner and I'm not so I'm always super scared that someone will think it is awful...

I have fallen in love with the living lockets and CAN NOT wait to get mine!!  I will post a picture later, here's one I snagged off google....

For the party I made a cake batter dip.  It was so yummy and it actually isn't that bad for you!  I wish I would have taken a picture but like I said before, I was nervous about getting everything ready!  Here is the link to this delicious treat!

At last.....SNOW

We finally got a good stuck in the house, no power kind of snow.  The good thing is the power was out for an hour, the driveway and roads are clear so tomorrow we can go back into civilization if we so choose!

It was a crazy week.  We missed school Wednesday for flooding (I spent the day getting water out of our basement) We no longer arrived at school on Thursday than to got the message we would be getting out at 12.  The snow hit quickly but thankfully Justin and I were safe at home when the chaos started!  Of course we were out today and enjoyed a day of fun!

Then and Now

Last year a family friend bought Emma a jumper that was a little large for her.  My mom loved it and went and got her the size she could wear last year and we kept the bigger size.  I put the jumper on Emma yesterday and here are some then and now photos.  What a difference a year makes.

I won something.  I never do and I check in on Jenna's Journey to see that I had won something from Very Jane.  I love looking at the site every now and then for cute little gifts through out the year (and cute accessories for Emma!)

27 months

Emma is 27 months old today!  She has quite a personality and is very strong willed and hard headed (she gets it honest!)  She can count to 11 and knows the colors; blue, red, purple, pink, yellow, orange, and green.  She also an expert at using our IPad.

Downton Abbey

I found this show last year on Amazon Prime, finished season 1 in a few days and started season 2 on PBS.  I was so excited for season 3 last night!  Do any of you guys watch it?  I was so happy to see Mary and Matthew's wedding. I love Maggie Smith, her character cracks me up!  Overall I was really happy with episode one.

Welcome 2013

New Year's Eve we traveled to our friends Chip and Becky's house.  We had a great night, we ate, the kids played, and the adults played catch phrase for HOURS (so much so we had to interrupt a game in order to countdown to the new year!)  Emma would not settle down so We let her ring in the new year loud and proud, she promptly fell asleep as soon as we put the car in reverse!

Baby Brayden

A dear friend had her little boy December 31.  He was a few weeks early and a few pounds light due to a placenta that was aging quicker than he was.   Today I got to meet him and he is OH, SO, ADORABLE!

Welcome to the world Brayden Joshua!  You are the cutest 4lb baby I've ever seen!!
