It's Only Wednesday.

So I like to use song titles or lyrics for my albums on facebook. I decided to do the same here when I could find one I knew and liked!



This week hasn't been very exciting.  Monday I had my hair colored and had Emma's hair trimmed.  We have to trick Em to even get scissors or Dale around her.  Maddie held her and acted silly while Dale scooted in and snip, snipped!  Just enough to clean up what I call her "rat tail" 

I looked super scary with my "who" hair! 

She doesn't even realize what is going on!! 

Tuesday I had the boys and they were about as sleepy as Em and I were, so we had lunch and then took a nap before heading to the pool.  Em found a crown Justin had bought her and has been wearing it around.  She calls it her hat.

Also, last night at the local Target I found this sip cup.  Em has had one that some friends had ordered from her. I have looked and looked for another one (I never got around to ordering one) I found this one and I'm so excited.  They don't seem to leak and I can strap them to her stroller super easy through the hole in the lid and they don't slip off or out!

Everyday is like Sunday

Another summer weekend is in the books.  Makes me sad that work is just around the corner! 
This morning I drove to a small town about 30 minutes away to take some pregnancy announcement snapshots for a dear friend of mine.  When I got back home we went to my parents to celebrate Dad's birthday.  We enjoyed BBQ and of course birthday cake (which Em LOVED!) ha!

Week-end wrap!

Today is my dad's 69th birthday!  Em can finally attempt to say "Happy Birthday" in Emma speak so she has made the traditional phone call!  We will celebrate with some family pool time tomorrow!

I finished my last day of extra in-service yesterday!  The rain finally stopped and Justin, Em and I went for a very muggy walk after J got home from work.

This morning I was super excited to walk with my friend Traci who was fresh home from the beach!  I think our walk made up for all the days I missed due to rain and work!  Now Em and I are hanging out taking pictures of ourselves her with bed head and me with sweat head while Justin is doing his workout.

Thursday, rain, in-service and NO NAP!

I have a confession, I have taken a nap almost every day when Em takes hers.  I figured I'm on break, why not! 

Today, I served my time for in-service and came home ready to have lunch and nap, BUT Em had already taken her nap.  So instead she is having her afternoon snack (well, Knox is getting most of it since Em is feeding him!)  Sorry, in-service days are pretty boring! 21st Monthday!

Happy 21 months to my sweet E.  She is a ball of fun and emotions!  Today we went shopping and when we came home she brought me her Elmo pjs and insisted I put them on her.  At least she didn't feel the need to demand to wear them shopping!

She has an ever expanding vocabulary and is putting short sentences together!   She loves pickles and strawberries, and of course being the water.  If there is a pool or ocean in sight, she is ready to "put suit on?" Emma is a funny girl, she likes doing silly things and making us laugh and of course she loves laughing as us!!!

Emma Monthdays!

My mom took my picture the 18th of every month.  I have done the same for Em.  I started taking a weekly picture and then stuck with just months.  So on the 10th of every month there is a dated picture taken.  Since tomorrow is her 21st monthday and I was such a slacker for all this time I will load all of the 20 other pictures!  Yes, bear with me, that is a lot of photos for one post....
