My nephew, who is in 8th grade, made the high school JV team. Wednesday night was my first chance to go to a game. We originally thought he was going to start, but he didn't. The first inning was BRUTAL then I had to take my other nephew and Emma to church. I decided to go back, the game was still a beating but after two pitchers allowed 13 runs, my nephew was headed out to the mound. I was so nervous, I was afraid that the visiting team was going to keep on running up the score, but he was able to hold them to only two runs and he was able to score a run! They didn't end up winning, but I was so glad I was there to see him do so well, with such big players!
Jealous! We have had maybe 2 days or so that made it to the 60s, but both were pretty darn windy---waiting for the truly nice weather to make it our way!!
ReplyDeleteYay for better weather! It was warm on Monday and today was the coolest day in the 40's. I didn't even mind the rain because it wasn't snow!
ReplyDeleteIt's warming up here too! I just wish the mornings were a little warmer. I guess it's coming soon. :)
