Yesterday I went and got my time on the treadmill in (I hate treadmill running) and then cleaned the 2 inch salt build up off my car and then just bummed around until we decided to drive to Kingsport to do a little shopping and eating. Oh I forgot the Amish Donuts! They only bring their cart around every few months so it's a big deal. While we were working on our cars, my dad went up and stood in the long line and brought us back some. They were so yummy!! Emma wouldn't eat hers at the car lot but she enjoyed it when we got home.
Waiting patiently for dad to pick out some new basketball shoes.
A yummy dinner at Zaxby's
I refuse to buy Emma her own food when we go out. She hardly likes anything from restaurants. She is happy with a plate full of veggies. I usually just get a bigger size meal and give her enough to eat. I was surprised she actually ate more of the chicken than I thought she would last night. I also love those select a drink machines. I can get her a flavored water or something and give her a little bit different choice of drink without having to give her a soda.
Today, I went ahead and let Emma wear her Valentine's day dress because who knows what the weather or health status around here will be in a week. I figured she can wear it again next week just in a different way! Today I put a sweater over it, next time I'll do a red shirt under it! I have also gotten out all the pink and heart stuff for her to wear out this week and next. Some of it isn't strictly Valentine's Day but I figured why not!?! Tonight we are just having some friends over and Emma is going to go to my mom's for a bit so we can watch the commercials (haa!) Emma helped me make a cake after lunch (just a simple box cake)

Sounds like you guys had a great weekend! The donuts look amazingly good! And I am with you, we never used to get Emma her own meal. We would just get an extra plate and give her some of ours. But now that she is older she has figured out that there is such thing as a "Childrens Menu" LOL.
ReplyDeleteHer vday dress is so cute! My girls do get kids meals when we eat out, but we still make them share. Waiters always look at us funny when we say they can even share the milk, but I refuse to pay for two meals yet :-P
