Commenting Challenge Day Deux !
Take 2 (Blogger is not my friend today!)
My inspiration for my blog came from Jenna's Journey and Kelly's Korner. I can't remember how I ended up on their blogs but I have followed them for over three years. I thought maybe people out there would find my life interesting. I'm not very good at keeping up with a blog.
I did posts about my nephews, my miscarriages, and some of Emma's beginnings and then dropped off. I would like to continue posting about those things for family and new friends.
My journey with my miscarriages was so lonely, no one could relate to me and at times when people could what they had to say was not helpful at all. I spent the 9 months of my pregnancy with Emma in a state of constant worry. Everyday I was fearful of what could go wrong and it was hard to be excited until she arrived. After she was born I spent even more time worrying about everything and praying that I would do things right! So far so good!
Here's a shot of Emma in her too small bathing suit (HAAHAA) from yesterday. My parents have had a pool since I was a little bit and I love having a place for Emma to play in the water if only for a few minutes each day.
I take 1001 pictures of this child everyday. At least she can relive her childhood over and over through pictures!

What a great post! I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriages.
ReplyDeleteYour Emma is beautiful!!! I'm quite partial to the name Emma since my daughters name is Emma as well =) I love that you said you take 1001 photos of her everyday, i'm the same way. I'm hoping someday Emma will look back and thank me for all millions of photos she has of herself =) I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog!!! =)
Thanks! I love the name Emma. She is actually named after my mom. Her name is Emogene and Emma's name is Emma Jean. Her middle name is the same as mine and my husband's grandmother. Thanks for stopping by again!
DeleteI just saw that you had commented back on this! So your Emma's name is Emma Jean...and my Emma's name is Emma Jane! How weird is that!!! =)
DeleteHi Tonya, Keep up the blogging, you'll be glad you did. I blogged strong for 2 years and then hardly nothing, now I am back after a couple years off and I am sad that I "slacked" off for those couple of years. Blog the good and the bad. One day, you'll want those memories. I've published my blog and it has made it even more special.
ReplyDeleteKeep it up and Happy Blogging!!!!
