Winter weather update...

Monday was beautiful. I even stayed and ran with the Girls on Track group.  Then Tuesday came and it snowed.  We missed school and so I spent the day being COLD.  We are on a three hour delay today.  I made this week Naartjie week.  I pulled out Emma's stuff and arranged it based on her day care lunch schedule (this was the cleanest food week!)

Emma is all about eggs now. They are all over my living room!!!! 

Emma loves holding dogs all of a sudden, so she and Chloe chilled at my mom's house.

Emma and I went to see The Muppets Most Wanted.  It was cute, Emma got bored with it a few times. Luckily, we were not near anyone so she could talk for a second then watch some more.

First post of Spring...

Hey.  How YOU doing!? This week was pretty boring, work and home.  Emma missed a few days of school and I didn't!  

Emma missed Monday because she stayed with her Mimi.  My friend Chelsey's mom got Emma the had and she has been obsessed with it. so I took random pictures of her with it on just to show how often she wears it!

My friend, Ashley, came in from South Carolina this weekend.  We had a good time just being silly, eating and watching Divergent!!  Here's a wrap of our week, with the hat, a crown, and stuff!

Luck of the Irish

I love all things Irish!  I was lucky enough to travel to Ireland in college and get a credit for studying Irish Literature!  I tell Justin I married him for the O'!  Emma was decked out all week in her green!

This week I made homemade Play-doh out of cake mix and it was a killer to stir!  Emma made her own pretend kind (out of her shells)

She also LOVES spaghetti.  I took a slow motion video of her eating it and it is pretty hilarious!

Friday was the St. Patricks Day race.  I decided to walk it and let Emma join in.  We dressed all in our green and I pretty much carried Emma the entire mile (My arms are so sore!)  It was fun and maybe she will want to walk most of it on her own next time! 

Emma is staying with her Mimi tonight so we have celebrated all we are going to for this year!  But we had to have some fun with all the junk I have around the house!!

Sunshine?!?

Can it be?! The sun has arrived in VA! We had a beautiful weekend, I got a little run in on Sunday (because I was a super lazy bum Saturday afternoon!) and Emma got to enjoy being outside.  On the sad end, our dog, Knox, is not getting better with his walking.  I'm waiting to hear back from the vet, he is so  pitiful. My heart is broken over how much he struggles to get around.

Emma's nails for St. Patrick's Day

Fr"ice"day!

That's right, more crazy weather. It was 50 something yesterday then we were coated in ice this morning.  I am going to work just on a 3 hour delay!  I thought I'd catch up on the week!

Here's the view of our iced over cars this morning.  It really wasn't too bad on the driveway so E made it to school on time!

Wednesday was "Wacky Tacky" day at the daycare.  I had to really talk to E to get her sold on this idea. The shoes really threw her for a loop, there was some pouting and mumbling "My shoes have got to match!" but she was a trooper and much happier when she saw her friends with different shoes!

I also had to go for a check up for my kidney stone situation.  The doctor told me there were no immediate stones that he could see in my kidneys!  Woohoo, I'm going to enjoy the peace of mind, until I have any time of side pain!  

Thursday was pretty boring.  Work and detention for me so E got to hang out with my mom until I got home!

Our dog, Knox, has been feeling bad, he has had trouble walking (putting pressure on his back legs) and had this nasty case of dermatitis on his belly, he had to take a trip to the vet this week. Emma has just talked about how when he feels better he's going to sit in her lap.  She settled on just loving on him.

Today was dress as your favorite Seuss character.  Emma was a star bellied Sneetch (because it was so easy to make the outfit and not the typical Thing 1.) Of course she had nails to match!
