Friday
I survived the day back at work! Emma has been a funny girl lately, here she is in my boots and some of her poses this morning. Tonight she decided to cut, curl, and dry my hair (in that order)

Tomorrow, I will go to work!!!
Yesterday all three of us had a snow day! Justin and Emma spent the morning building and hanging out in a fort. Then she and I did a little Valentine's Day craft that I borrowed from Sarah's blog. We needed to get out so we met up with some friends and had dinner.
I really don't foresee that I will miss tomorrow. Today I did send Emma to school until after lunch. She and I met my friend Jessica and her son Colt (he is one month earlier that Em) We went to see "The Nut Job" it was funny, but no "Frozen"

Just another post about.....SNOW
That's right it's still cold and we have snow! It snowed all day yesterday. Luckily we only have about 4 inches out there and the sun is out and shining today (just really cold) I had gotten up and gotten Emma ready for school before they closed my system so I snapped her picture of the day. Her hair is CRAZY!

She also wanted to pose with her stuff. Crazy child. We ventured out to clean off the driveway and let Emma play for a little bit about 4. We have a pretty long driveway and Justin and I traded off moving the snow, but there was another heavy snowfall and it pretty much negated all the work we did!

Paint my hair and call me beautiful!
That's right, I got my hair colored (Emma said painted) I also had hers evened up (1 1/2 inches in some spots, crazy baby hair!)
I also got Emma's Valentine pictures (she was super fast!) I think this is one of my favorites...
Also, here is Emma's photo for today! 1-27-14
I broke out the heart wear, I figured we could get some wear out of it!
Guess what, after the lovely heat wave the temps are falling again tonight. Our school system already placed us on a 2 hour delay in the morning. My gravy I hope to feel my toes again soon!

Heat Wave
It was above freezing people! Break out the shorts and lets roll in the melting snow! The sunshine came out in all it's glory and melted almost all the snow away. We still had a bit in our back yard so Emma did some playing!
I also got Knox to freeze long enough for a snow picture!! He is our sweet old pup. He will be 12 this year!
And Emma's picture sums up her mood of the morning, grumpy! YIKES was she grumpy! Can you see the pain in her eyes of having to put her panda head band on for a picture!

Jason Isbell, Valentine's Day photos, and COLD Snow
A few weeks ago I went to see St. Paul and the Broken Bones at our local theater (it's a historic site) they have started this thing called January Jams. I really wanted to check out Jason Isbell, but it was SOLD OUT. Luckily my lovely friend, Lescia, had two extra tickets when her daughters couldn't come home for the show. So she offered to take Traci and me.
Jason Isbell wasgreat FANTASTIC. Holly Williams was his opening act, she was BEAUTIFUL and very good.
This song she wrote about her grandparents (Not Hank Williams Sr., she didn't know him) It broke my heart, but it is such a sweet song.
I took a ton of pictures of Jason Isbell, here are just a few....

This morning Emma and I headed out to have her Valentine's Day pictures done. Here she is with Amanda "posing" or being uncooperative as usual for her and photo shoots!
I got a cute Jelly the Pug dress but it was way to cold to wear without a shirt underneath, I just used the shirt from her Christmas dress!!! Amanda sent me a sneak peek of one and I'm pretty excited to see how they turn out!
On our way to pictures it was snowing. By the time we left the parking lot was covered and the roads had a dusting over them. This snow was not even forecasted (like the terrible snow they had us waiting around all day on this week, that amounted to much less than what we have now!) So Emma posed for me in her "Dorothy" shoes.
We didn't stay out long, just the walk from the car to the house! We got in the house and spent the day warming up before running out to eat with my brother and his family. It started dumping the snow again. Geesh, weather people have it made! It may snow, it may not!
I hope you are warm where you are!
