Sunday is Church, Food, Football, and Downton Abbey!

Today, the weather was a balmy 50 degrees. I even went around without a jacket. I soaked it all up since tomorrow the weather is suppose to be the pits!
Emma spent the night with my mom so she was wild and ready to go before i picked her up!
Emma sporting her Old Navy sweater dress before church! (and Target sparkly shoes, thank goodness for Target shoes!)

After church we headed to Cafe Twist for lunch with some friends then headed home and Emma and I both napped!  After that started football.  We are big Bears fans so we didn't want the Packers to win. Emma wore a bears 'boggin to get the 49ers the win.  Then we went to visit my nephew.  He ended up with 10 stitches 5 in each knee.  He is going to have a few rough walking days!

Now it's time to snuggle up and get ready to watch some Downton Abbey!

Stay warm everyone!

Here is Emma today.  We have had an exciting morning...
I was just getting ready for lunch when I got a call that my youngest nephew had wrecked his dirt bike and my SIL was alone and couldn't get the bike up the hill because G needed stitches.  So I threw a coat on Emma handed her lunch and we jumped in the car.  Try as I might I didn't know how to get the bike in neutral so I kept hurrying my SIL out the door and told her I would stay until Justin could get the bike up the hill and get the cat and dog in the right spot and lock her house.  The cat ran back into the house every time I got him out and I couldn't get the deaf dog back into the garage  I gave up left the cat in and came home to get my phone (it's a one minute drive) and proceeded to sit in the car until Justin could show up and get the bike. Luckily, my other SIL showed up and got the cat for me.  I don't know the extent of G's injuries at the time but all is put in the right spot at their house.

Today was a COLD day and school was cancelled.  After two straight days in her PJs, Emma is finally dressed! We are finally heading out for dinner.
I got this cute set off eBay and it's so cute!

I really like it with the vest, but Emma's not very fond of it!

We heading to Kingsport to eat at our favorite Italian Pizza place then we did some shopping.  more like looking around but it was fun and Emma got a lot of compliments on her outfit!

Picture a day....

So my blog buddy Johannah is going to take a picture a day of her two girls.  I thought this would be a good idea too.  My plan is to post them here if only for my entertainment!

January 2
Today I left Emma and Justin in bed because I went back to work today.  They don't return to their respective placements until Monday.  So Emma stayed in her PJs all day today (until bath and a wardrobe change) It's suppose to be a windchill of -2 in the morning so Emma is wearing her "cozy and comfy pjs" tonight

I also got an iPhone 5s so most of my pictures will be from it...

Happy New Year!

We have had a low key day today.  Last night we went to our friends the Zimmerman's.  We have spent many of the past NYE at their house.  Last night Emma was able to play with Noah and so Justin and I actually got to play games at the same time without one of use having to make sure Emma was ok! The bittersweetness of her growing up.

Emma has stayed up every year for New Years so far.  Wild child!!

Have yourself a Merry little Christmas, Eve

So I had planned to get Emma's ornament started when…. I got a text from Erika and she had just finished it.  I'm super excited and surprised.  I figured I was on my own this year since it wasn't going to work out for me to travel to HHI!

Earlier I helped mom make sausage balls.  Emma was a lovely girl and so patient while waiting on us to finish!

This evening we will head over to Justin's Mom's for a load of Italian food New York style!
