Labor Day

I guess the biggest thing to post about is that Emma has been using the potty (for both reasons) since Tuesday and has stayed dry at school (and home) ever since.  She even tackled public restrooms all weekend.  It has totally been her. We rewarded and encouraged but she has been the one to say she had to go and go.  Makes the melts downs all summer seem so silly!  Today she wanted to wear panties so she has except for nap.  I have kept her in pull-ups as a just in case but she has really handled it like a pro!  So if anyone asks me for advice I will tell them, to just talk about it and practice but there may come a time when you may just have to wait for them to make that step.

Color extreme

Today started out like any Saturday.  I was all clean and ready for a nice little run/walk....  I even had someone to do silly poses with.....

Then after an extremeLY hilly course I looked like this.......

The most fun anyone can have when faced with more uphills than down and willing to have large amounts of colored cornstarch dumped on you!  I recommend it to everyone at least once in their life! 

Friday Glorious Friday!

The first full week back is always the hardest (well, until next week!) Both of my nephews are at my school now so they asked for a trip to Sweet Frog earlier in the week.  Thanks to a free yogurt and a discount card I fed these three sugar addicts for less that $5!

It is race weekend here so I will be hiding on on my side of the city while the NASCAR fans take up the rest!

A whole lot of sassy

I had some photos of Emma done yesterday.  This was her look before hand. See how nice her hair is. By the time we left it was flat and stringy.  Like mother like daughter.

I can't wait to get the pictures back and see how they turn out.  The photographer is a high school friend who happens to be VERY pregnant.  She is so good with Emma and got Emma past her fits, sorta!

We have registration today and start back with students Wednesday, so everyone have a good week! 

We are getting closer

to 3!

It has been so muggy and rainy lately.  It was sprinkling when we were taking this one.  The porch ones were fuzzy because my camera fogged up just from walking out from inside the house!

Back in the saddle again.
