I have been trying to pep Emma up to see Santa. No matter how much we talked it has been a constant "NO SANTA" I bribed, and pleaded and finally got a "YES" Well, "YES" to a two year old is not at all "YES".

Now for the Santa pictures... We started out well, all cute and ready taking practice happy shots before leaving.
When we got there and Santa arrived we went out to meet him. She FLIPPED out. But finally Santa worked some magic by disappearing while we got Emma in a chair and then poof, he came back in time for a smile!
I'm just happy for a friend that let us crash a company party to find this particular Santa!

It's Wednesday, we are halfway through the week. I'm tired and I really feel like I'm fighting something. I'm not going to complain anymore, I'm going to hope it's not the flu that has slowly started it's arrival into the school.

We let Emma help with the Christmas tree. She kinda shoved ornaments into the tree and then I would go back and hang them, she was apart of it and she is very proud of the tree. (small tangent warning) Emma is such a good girl. She was never one to mess in things and I have pretty much left everything out without worries of her breaking anything. She has been the same way with the tree the past two years. O.k. tangent over. Here are two shots of her helping with tree a little over a week ago.
Alright, back to the future. Today she wore a cute little googly eyed reindeer shirt (YES, the eyes move!) this shirt was from a great aunt (as was the one yesterday) She hasn't been very cooperative with pictures lately so I'm happy to post two decent ones! I got a big smile out of her too!
Ariel likes to hang out in the kitchen, but she has yet to cook any elf goodies!
Today is my mom's birthday so Emma and I are heading out to Cheddar's to have dinner with her! YUM!!
Emma has a weeks worth of Christmas shirts, plus dressy outfits and all that other jazz. Poor child has had a one week break from the Halloween and Thanksgiving garb I had!

Last night we celebrated my Mom's birthday. Here are some shots from the evening.
It was a lovely WARM December day today! Justin shaved his beard after no shave November he looked all crazy with it and then he looked all crazy without it!
We stayed in our pjs for awhile this morning (before gymnastics!) I had to bribe Em to wear this hat!

Also, I want to try to post one of my favorite Christmas songs daily. (I'm not good at keeping up with those things.) I am going to post my favorite song. I love to sing this song and want to put it first so it can be enjoyed everyday!
